If you’re a fan of both Bethesda’s immense, open-world RPGs and the white-knuckle racing simulation of the Forza franchise, this joint project will probably excite you. Forza Motorsport 6 players will soon be able to race wasteland-style with a recently announced collaboration between Turn 10 Studios and Bethesda. In celebration of the highly-anticipated release of Fallout 4, players of the Xbox One-exclusive racing simulator will today be given free access to a Fallout-inspired 1956 Ford F100 pickup. Turn 10 Studios announced that the, “retro-futuristic Vault-Tec themed Fallout 4 F100 will be sent to all Forza 6 players in celebration of the game’s launch.”
“Everyone asks us if you can drive the cars in Fallout 4, and now we can say yes–in Forza, our favourite racing game,” Bethesda supremo Todd Howard said. Forza 6 players will also receive a fictional Fallout car – the “Chryslus Rocket 69” – in early 2016. The F100 is shown in the screenshot below, and make sure you also check out the video to see it in action.
