I’ll be quite honest. I downloaded Just Cause 2 demo off of the Xbox Live Demo section last weekend. I mean, first off, the Just Cause 2 Demo was enough to make me orgasm my pants time and time again. The content provided in the demo itself was enough to keep me occupied for a very long time. And that it did.
See, I have a hard time paying $59.99 for some underdeveloped piece of shit. And Just cause 2 for the 360 was the exact opposite.
The Skill Levels
When you first start the Game, fresh off of the Xbox Landing page your given the option for different types of game play. Now mind you, this is completely normal, but Just Cause 2 offers a new method lower than “easy mode” called ‘Casual’ it caters to us who want to play the story. We just don’t want to die, and we don’t want a challenge. It this method of game play literally walks you through the game, but allows the player to enjoy all the content in a safer setting.
The world
Now I know alot of people criticized grand theft auto 4 and the whole series for catering to stories more than the actual free-roam aspect. If you’re like me, you wanna wreak havoc! You want to destroy everything, you want to steal cars.
Well your in luck. Just cause 2 allows you to walk out of any mission. Yes, just walk right out. Relinquish your duties, go steal a car, come back, and continue. This is followed by the “Heat Level” a skill point percentage tally based off of the damage you do to stuff. It’s similar to the 1-5 star rating in GTA but not as harsh. 5 stars in GTA is some hard shit to pull off, but Just Cause will allow those that actually want to achieve it, to do so not necessarily with ease, but in a fun and challenging manner.
This being said, go out and buy Just Cause 2. But hey, dont take out workd for it. The demo is up on Xbox Live in the market place 100% free of charge.
As always, you can check out these, and other game demos at http://www.xbox.com/live

The tragedy in Haiti has driven a pick into my chest. Not only because of the hundreds of thousands dead, or the thousands homeless and injured, but the fact that so many people are going on with their day while a part of the world and our fellow humans are living in Haiti with no food, clean water, and life threatening injuries and illness caused by the recent earthquakes.
Our sister site, and host http://www.caliscape.net/ has decided to give 50% of it’s donations, and subscription earnings to assist with relief aid in Haiti.
You, me, and our fellow gamers can now visit sites like TheLoadedGamer, and CaliScape, and know that while we browse the internet, play games, and have fun, we are saving lives.
Thanks a bunch to Aaron and the CS Interactive Administration for running such a stable network, and helping with such a good cause.

I was having a conversation recently with a friend regarding the media and video games. Why do some games get more attention than others? Why can great games go unnoticed and sit in the dark, while other promising and creative titles sit on the shelves at GameStop for months without anyone touching them.
The answer? Large News Corporations. Yeah, it sounds stupid. “Uhhrrr why would the News want our video games?” Well my friends, over the last few years, the video game Industry has grown and become an acceptable form of media entertainment. So much in fact that it caught the eye of Forbes Billionaire Rupert Murdoch.
Now I’m going to go off on a tangent here, but bhelieve me, you will want to follow along.
Rupert Murdoch is the owner of the ‘News Corporation’. Now you may not know this company by name, but I’m sure you’ve heard of every single company that the News Corporation owns…
-20th Century Fox
-Fox News
-G4 Telivision
-MySpace Inc.
-Imeem.com
-Electronic Arts
-People Magazine
The list can go on, but I think that sums it up quite well, but back to the point. Every video game company these days have parent companies. The example shown here specifically links Electronic Arts to all the other companys on the list. This means that when EA releases a shitface ass-licking fuckup, it becomes the next big thing, because instantly its slapped all over the homepage of MySpace. It gets it’s dick stroked by the idiots on G4TV. Big sexy commercials get thrown up on every Fox Channel. Every magazine owned by the News Coproration will feature “Madden 2010 the Third”. You see where I’m goin?
Like the film industry, television, radio, and anything that appeals to people… video games are slowly being bought out by large media organizations.
So here’s my request to you. Go out of your way. Search for unique looking games. Support the Indie market, download from the Xbox Live arcade. There’s good stuff out there guys, don’t go buy something just because the TV tlls you too.
I’ve always been a really big fan of the Video Game Awards, and I’m really excited for the exposure they are getting these past few years.
When most people think of Video Games, they simply think of children sitting alone in the dark. Maybe weaing glasses, and masturbating to anime porn. In my opinion, the VGAs has closed this case.
Like it or not, the Video Game Industry is right up there now with film and music. Its not only just for kids anymore. its popping up more and more in everyday life. Fuck, even pop culture references are using video game terms.
5 years ago, you would have never seen a preppy looking kid wearing a 1-Up tshirt. In this day and age, we have Bros, Brohoes, Dykes, Lesbians, Pornstars, Priests, Pastors, Sex offenders, Girls – literally everyone is playing.
I got off track, but my point is, the VGAs just show that the gaming community is changing, and changing for the best.
Make sure to tune your TVs to Spike to watch the 2009 VGAs!
Oh, and buy a pepsi and a large pizza from your local Pizza Hut Online. Theres some mad deals that day!

Let me explain. This is complete bull. It won’t work, and never will work. It’s a scam for idiots who actually click on this stuff and try it out.
Here’s the code:
javascript:var numfriends=document.getElementById(‘friends’).getElementsByTagName(‘li’).length;fs.click(document.getElementById(‘friends’).getElementsByTagName(‘a’)[1].parentNode);for(var i=0; i < numfriends; i++){fs.click(document.getElementById('friends').getElementsByTagName('a')[i].parentNode);}
Let me explain to y’all who just invited every one of their friends to join the stupid group:
What this piece of Javascript means in english is…
The number of friends (variable for your friends) is equal to the number of ‘li’ elements that have the ID ‘friends’ (Meaning it counts your friends).
We then go and click on every single friend (by matching ‘a’ elements and the numfriend variable, (a little guy I like to call loop (while the number of friends is still above 0, click on it, and subtract 1 from numfriends.)
It’s a scam. It’s a stunt to get group members. Simple as that. It should be obvious.
The only way a global dislike button will be deployed, is if Facebook does so. If not everyone had it added, then not everyone would see it, making the button pointless, right? Right. So Don’t bother with FF extensions, or otherwise useless solutions.

Several years ago, to my shame, I got hooked on the McDonalds Monopoly Game. My friends and I were eating in there daily to share tokens and hopefully bag that big prize. But the chances of winning were non-existant (certainly on the big prizes anyway) because the whole thing was rigged . However, now that it’s all above board could you actually win the big $1million, or even some of the smaller prizes? Well, yes. But your chances of winning are all based on the odds of finding one particular piece from each set. What are those pieces? Read on…
Like any professionally organized, mass-market game, the odds of winning the big prizes are never in your favor. There is no randomness here, it’s not like McDonalds just printed up a whole bunch of pieces and let them loose on the community. There are very few of some pieces and literally millions of others. When you get a yellow piece, for instance, it will almost never be Ventnor Avenue. That’s one of those pieces that is controlled. The table below outlines the piece from each set that is in demand, the prize for getting it and the number of pieces available in the game.

So, what does this mean? Well if you scour eBay right now, or your local Craigslist, you will see dozens of people either looking for the pieces above, or selling large collections of pieces that contain none of the above. Either way, you should stay away. If you have one of the pieces above you have technically won, as getting the other pieces in the set is very easy. But if you’re looking to buy pieces, unless someone has stumbled on one of the rare pieces without knowing it, you’re just buying worthless tokens.
With this in mind, print the table above and keep it on you if you’re playing the monopoly game. When you get a piece check it against the list and if it’s on there, you’re a winner. If it’s Boardwalk, please, feel free to share your winnings with the humble writer of this story.

Or… maybe not….
The PSP Go was recently released, and it seems Sony has no plan wahtsoever for a conversion of your UMD games that you had with your original PSP. Hey, I’m cool with digital content, but can’t we have the option to play our old UMD Games? And if theres no way to play them (Which is obviously the case right now with the PSP Go) can we at least have a way to convert them?
Just as they do Time and time again, the PlayStation Franchise is proving to us that it’s not a matter of “Hey! We’re releasing this new product – heres all the tools you need to to make it work”, but more of a “Hey, here’s this new product. We have plans to make it work, but they’ll come around in a year when you don’t want it anymore because you’ve already downloaded all your old games out of rage.”
However, Nobody can make this point better than Mega64 - This video was released tonight, and I wanted to share it all with you.
Kudos to you Sony. This is why I haven’t touched a PlayStation product in over 2 years.

Hideo Kojima is pretty well known for teasing his audience, and throwing out tricks teasers to get them wondering… but what is he on about now…?
“I’m putting everything I want to do on a portable console into this game,” Kojima-san told Famitsu (translated by 1UP). “I haven’t announced this yet, but there’s another feature in here that will surprise people, to the point where they’ll want to go out and buy a PSP right now!”
Uhhh… wtf? Sounds good Hideo, but with everything that’s happened with the PSP Go – I think I’d rather attach a muscle stimulator to my balls.
The Famitsu article also mentions that Peace Walker will incorporate Yamaha Corporation’s Vocaloid technology, which allows users to synthesize singing by typing in lyrics and a melody. 1UP reports that this will be used for AI-based weapons….
Hold up, hold up. GUNS THAT SING?
