Great news for fans of tis year’s indie release, Firewatch – Campo Santo’s adventure game will be adapted into a movie. The developer has signed a deal with film production company Good Universe to make the cinematic adaptation a reality.
“Finding extraordinary content is incredibly exciting, and with the Campo Santo team, we felt an immediate simpatico with their utterly beguiling storytelling and amazing creative instincts,” Joe Drake, co-founder of Good Universe, said.

Formed in 2012, Good Universe is involved with a number of exciting upcoming film releases, and has production credits on a number of popular existing titles.
Having sold in excess of 1 million copies, Firewatch is part of a series of recent indie hits, which prove that AAA production quality doesn’t necessarily count for everything.
