New games free with Xbox Live Gold

A new lineup of free games has been added to the Xbox Live store, available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers.

The batch for the latter half of September include Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, and the now-backwards compatible Mirror’s Edge. If you don’t currently own an Xbox One Console, you can still grab Mirror’s Edge and it will be ready to download when you get the console.

Additionally, Earthlock: Festival of Magic is available for the entirety of September. These three titles replace the previously available WWE 2K16 and Forza Horizon, which were free until September 15.

The Xbox 360 platformer Splosion Man is also available via backwards compatibility.

October’s free titles have not yet been announced.
